On September 19, the exhibition-fair "Autumn Flora" will begin its work at the Eurasia cultural and exhibition center. Within the framework of this exhibition, for the third time, the results of our traditional competition "Envy, Neighbor!"
We announced it in the last May issue of our magazine. As in previous years, this competition is supported by the Directorate of the Autumn Flora exhibition.
Its general sponsor was again the firm "Life at the Dacha", which will provide the main prize to the winner of the competition - a collapsible garden bench (see photo) and an arch. There will be prizes for the participants of the competition and from other firms. The firms "Mika", "Tellura", "Severny Ogorod", TC "RET", private enterprise "Makarevich" have already announced their readiness to encourage the best competitors.
The conditions of the competition are unchanged: tell about how you managed to create a wonderful corner for relaxation in your garden, on a country estate. You can share your experience of creating a bright lawn, a lush flower bed, an alpine slide, a beautiful green hedge, a decorative reservoir, etc. A prerequisite is that your story should be supplemented with photographs illustrating what you managed to do. The whole summer is still ahead, so there is enough time to prepare the competition material. We do not want to leave outside the framework of the competition those of our readers who do not have a summer residence outside the city. For example, last year the second place in the competition was taken by two residents of Old Peterhof, who created colorful flower beds near the entrance of the new house. We believe that their example is worthy of imitation,and we invite you to send illustrated stories about selfless contribution to the improvement of the city. You can also talk about beautiful balconies and loggias, pleasing to the eye from spring to autumn with a bright floral palette, adding photos to the words.
