Give me a beautiful garden
Galina Aleksandrovna Kizima is well known to St. Petersburg gardeners and summer residents. She is the author of numerous publications in horticultural publications, including Flora Price magazine. For the past few years, she has been writing books in which she reveals the secrets of growing vegetables and fruits with the least expenditure of time and labor.

And now in the publishing house "Vector" two books by GA Kizima are coming out of print, which will differ significantly from the previous ones. Firstly, they are devoted not to high yields of vegetables, but to ornamental plants, with which you can create a beautiful corner in any garden or a beautiful landscape in the country. Secondly, these books are full-color, they are colorfully decorated with photographs and contain useful information for gardeners and summer residents about decorative plants that are interesting and loved by gardeners. Such publications can serve as a good gift for any person who loves Nature. They are called "Roses and Shrubs", "Rhododendrons and Hydrangeas".
By agreement with the "Vector" publishing house, we publish several articles from these books and at the same time announce a competition among the readers of the magazine. We invite them to tell about those ornamental plants that already adorn their garden or summer cottage, how they grew them in our difficult climate, how they entered them into the landscape of their homestead. The story must be accompanied by photographs of these plants and beautiful corners of your garden. It is advisable that the author of the article is photographed against the background of his favorite ornamental plants.

The competition will run until the end of August. It is until August 31 that we are waiting for materials with stories about ornamental shrubs and their use in the garden. The results of the competition will be announced at the Autumn Flora exhibition on September 22 at 13:00 in the Eurasia exhibition center. The winners - those authors who send the most interesting stories and photographs from their garden, will receive prizes from the "Vector" publishing house - books by GA Kizima "Roses and Shrubs", "Rhododendrons and Hydrangeas". We will definitely publish the best articles of our readers in our magazine.
Send materials for the competition to the editorial office: 199178, St. Petersburg, V.O., 11th line, 64, lit. D, or by e-mail: E-mail: [email protected] or [email protected] Be sure to include your contact phone number in the letter.
We wish you success in the new season and in our competition!
