There are many different products available to prevent siltation. Judging by user reviews on the Internet, microbiological preparations do not work very well here (they are hampered by the draining of detergents), and the most effective are those based on nitrate oxidants. The basis of such products is the usual nitrogen fertilizer, which does not harm the environment. On its basis, we have developed a means "Devon-IL", intended both for the prevention of siltation, and for the elimination of already formed blockages.
Prevention of siltation is quite simple - it is enough to add 50-100 ml of the product 1-2 times a month into the sink or toilet drain (even better if it is possible to pour Devon-IL somewhere closer to the sewer outlet in a scattering field or drainage well) …
If silting has already occurred, multiple treatment with the Devon-IL means of the bottom of the drainage well or the stray field is necessary. Fat contamination will decompose in layers, so it will take some time to restore soil water permeability.
For the stray field, the "Devon-IL" agent must be poured repeatedly in 200-300 ml 2 - 3 times a day.
For a drainage well with a diameter of 0.8 - 1 m, several applications are possible: either add 200-300 ml 2 - 3 times a day, or add the same dose after each emptying of the well by sewers, or, it is possible to mechanically influence the bottom layers of the sixth or with a stick, add 200 - 300 ml of Devon-IL to a layer of water 20 - 50 cm thick and stir vigorously.
