Fishing Academy
For successful fishing with circles, deep reservoirs are suitable, preferably without vegetation. A stable, light, fast-moving boat is also needed. Before going to the pond, the angler asks himself the question: how many circles should you take with you? Opinions vary here. According to the circles with whom I had a chance to communicate, the optimal number is ten. 7-8 of them are workers, the rest are spare.
In addition to the required number of circles, one more important question should be solved: "Where can I get live bait?" Of course, the best option is to catch them on the spot. However, this option does not always work. Hence the conclusion: it is better to stock up on a nozzle in advance. For example, I use crucians and rotans as live bait, which I catch in pits in a quarry. This does not require much skill, just a square frame with a fine mesh stretched over it is enough.
Arm yourself with such a "tool of labor" and in the evening go to the sandbank or look for "windows" among the vegetation. Experienced fishermen assure that at this time there are more chances to catch live bait than during the day. Just keep in mind that in no case should you keep other fish together with ruffs and perches. Because the abundant mucus secreted by the prickly "brethren" will quickly poison the rest of the live bait.
There are several ways to attach live bait to the hook of a mug. The most commonly used technique is when the hook is attached to the back without damaging the ridge. Sometimes the live bait hooks onto the lip with a hook, or at first the hook is passed through the gill into the mouth, then brought out. I have seen how the tee on the body of the live bait was fixed with an elastic band.
Arriving at the reservoir, the circle maker, with the help of visually detected landmarks or using control measurements of depths, finds a promising place, determines the strength and direction of the wind and immediately puts the equipped tackle on the water. The distance between the circles is up to 6 meters. In this case, it is advisable to arrange them in a checkerboard pattern. Zhivtsov is allowed in 30-50 centimeters from the bottom.
When all the circles are on the water, the angler should drive 30-50 meters to the side or back, so as not to frighten the fish. But at the same time, you must constantly monitor the circles. After the circles float across the entire water area of the reservoir, they are usually returned to the starting point. Even if, when biting, the circle turns over and stands still, in no case do not rush to it at breakneck speed. Remember that fishing with circles is a rather specific activity, and therefore it has peculiarities when biting.
For example, if an inverted circle does not rotate, then you need to wait a little with a sweep and be patient. The inverted circle does not rotate because the predator, seizing the bait, stands still and does not swallow its prey. Even when the inverted circle rotates, you still need to wait a few seconds. Because the pike sometimes starts to swim, but then suddenly stops. In this case, you need to be at the circle a little later than the moment when it stops rotating: the predator will have time to turn the prey head first and begin to swallow it.
My relative, namesake Alexander Rykov, has mastered "circle" fishing to such an extent that by the behavior of the circle after turning over, he accurately determines the type and size of a potential trophy. He knows, for example, that the pike, having turned the circle, will make several turns and freeze for a few seconds. Then it will rotate a few times and stop. But when she slowly drags the circle - it's time to hook.
It should not be forgotten that the pike is desperately fighting for its life, therefore, large fish should not be immediately pulled into the boat or caught in the water with a landing net. The best option is to try to tire her out and only after that get her back or put on a noose. The pike perch instantly turns the disc over and swiftly drags it to an open place, swallowing live bait on the go. The burbot, having swallowed the nozzle, makes several gentle stretches, and then tries to drag the circle vertically down.
A very original bite of the perch. First, he leads a circle, tugs and tilts it, as if he cannot turn it over in any way. Sometimes he immediately drowns and somersaults the circle. Looking with bated breath at this peculiar whistle dance, you think that you have caught a huge fish, ten kilograms. In fact, on the hook is an ordinary perch of two hundred grams. Otherwise, only crumpled, peeled live bait will remain. Fishing in circles is an entertaining and, I must say, a very prey business. That is why I am sure that every amateur angler is able to achieve no less success. The main thing here is desire and patience, and then luck will surely come …

How To Catch A Pike. Catch A Toothy Predator
I think there is no other such fish for catching which would have been invented as many tackles and methods as for pike. There is a spinning rod, a track, and a circle, and a zerlitsa, and a post, and a line, and a sheer spoon, and an ordinary fishing rod, and a fishing rod with a sliding float and much more. And how many ingenious baits have been invented in order to seduce a toothy predator. In addition to the traditional set of all kinds of spinners, there are twisters, devons, vibrotail
Chub: Both Peaceful And Predator
Although the chub is a fairly well-known fish, it is rarely found in amateur catches, as well as among fishermen. This is probably due to the fact that only small individuals ( fingerlings ) form small flocks. Large fish keep one by one: let's say, they were lucky, they managed to find a parking place for an individualistic chub. And I caught him - look for a new place. And so on without end
