The end of autumn is the beginning of winter, it's time to think about the seeds and the future harvest. And for the new season to be successful, you need to decide on the varieties that you would like to have on your site.
Want to have two buckets of bush tomatoes every season? Such a yield can be easily achieved by growing tall varieties of tomatoes.

Tomato Auria orange
For example, tomato varieties stand out against the background of others with their long fruits: Italian spaghetti, Orange Auria, Red Eros, Sausage (Sausage). Their fruits are relatively thin, 3-4 cm in diameter, but in length they stretch up to 13 cm. The skin of the fruit is dense and resistant to cracking.
Large clusters are formed on the bushes of these tall varieties of tomatoes, and therefore they are able to produce up to two buckets of excellent, well-tolerated transportation and ideal for canning tomatoes per season.
Imagine how beautiful such long fruits look in a jar, while they do not creep when preserved, they can then be cut with a knife.
No less beautiful red fruits are of the Tropical Semi-Giant variety - they are up to 15 cm long, but thicker in diameter, like barrels, each weighing 300-350 grams. They have very few seeds - only sugary pulp. Similar varieties, only with a pink color of the fruit - Donkey ears, Dutch giant, General Kornilov. All these varieties are unpretentious in cultivation, give high yields, are resistant to diseases, and are flexible to any weather.

Hot and sweet peppers of the original form
Chilli Willy yellow pepper
We were impressed by the originality and productivity of their fruits, the varieties of Chilli Willy peppers, which have an original shape and are very spicy in taste. Chilli Willy peppers are not the result of Photoshop, not a genetically modified product, but the fruits of hot peppers that have grown in natural conditions, which have never fallen into the hands of breeders.
This variety is quite rare, and its seeds are expensive. Previously, it grew exclusively in the American states of Texas and Louisiana, where it found refuge in the rare homes of gardeners. Spicy-shaped peppers are also known as Peters Peppers and Penis Peppers.
Sweet pepper Giant Aconcagua
Their pungency is on the same level as that of Tabasco pepper, but their popularity is based not on taste, but on the shape of the fruit. In addition to the red color of the fruit, there are varieties with yellow and orange colors. This pepper is easy to grow both outdoors and as an indoor culture in pots all year round. The use is universal. These peppers can be eaten fresh, pickled, dried, pickled, and added to a variety of culinary dishes.
And, finally, I'll tell you about rare varieties of sweet peppers that have an interesting fruit shape.
Aconcagua and Giant Aconcagua are excellent large-fruited sweet peppers. The walls of their fruits are of medium thickness, they are really sweet, with practically no smell of bell pepper, and most importantly, they are very delicate in taste and consistency. Juicy but not liquid, crunchy but not harsh, very pleasant.
Fruits are red, up to 25 cm long, conical, triangular. Good in salad and perfect for stuffing. They are without a trace of pungency, and the plant itself is squat, thick-stemmed, fruitful.
Sweet pepper Snake
Hot red peppers are familiar to everyone. By the way, it is also called the "elephant trunk". But do you know what a "snake" is? This is the same red pepper, but not hot, but … sweet. This curiosity was brought out by Chinese breeders. The fruits of this variety are long (up to two tens of centimeters) and thin. The diameter at the base is about one and a half centimeters. They differ in shape from the elephant trunk hot pepper. Hot peppers are straight and sweet peppers are curled. Some snake peppers even bend into rings. This variety is bush. The bushes are quite tall - more than seventy centimeters. Flowering begins early, flowers grow in clusters of ten to twelve pieces.
Fruit ripening begins in June and continues until frost. The snake's fruits are sweet, with a strong aroma. Their color is usually red, like hot peppers, but can be yellow or green. It is possible to grow such a variety not only for food, but also for decorating the site. Colored peppers will be more beautiful than other colors. There is nothing difficult in growing this variety.
Bushes do not need shaping, agricultural technology is common. The new pepper variety amazes with its unexpected taste. It's hard to believe in the sweetness of this vegetable, it is so similar to the hot pepper we all are used to. His walls are not very delicate, but this is not scary, since they are quite thin. This pepper is very aromatic. It can be used as a seasoning, it is useful for canning and salting.
All these varieties give large yields, their bushes bend from the abundance of fruits, besides, they are unpretentious in cultivation.

I make planting holes with an ordinary garden drill, right along the unmown siderata. I mow them only a week after planting tomatoes and mulch the planting with them. I don't do this before because they perfectly shade the seedlings and regulate the water balance
In terms of the prevalence of cultivation, tomatoes rank first in the world. On my garden plot, the main areas are occupied by tomatoes, I test about 100 varieties annually. This is possible thanks to communication with breeders and amateur seed growers
The miniature fruits of hot peppers seem to be multi-colored gems. Despite their small size, these are real caskets filled with vitamins, and breathtaking with their taste
Hot peppers have their "hot" adherents all over the world, but are most popular in the south. We are traditionally accustomed to treating it as a seasoning, but it turns out that it has a whole bunch of qualities that are extremely useful for humans
