Fishing with this bait is best done from a boat or small bridges. The rod is 1.8-3.5 meters long. The reel is preferably inertialess, line with a thickness of 0.25-0.3 mm. A hook with a dragonfly planted on it is launched downstream to a distance of 15-20 meters. After such a posting, the fishing line should be reeled up, then released again. The hook should be light, but wide, so that all the slack in the line is taken.

• If you are fishing on a river and suddenly find yourself without worms - do not be upset, they can be replaced with bugs that look like wood lice. Where can I get them? Enter the water, pick up any stone from the bottom and turn it over. On the side that lay at the bottom, you will see bugs. They have no hard shell and many legs. This is a familiar food for fish, and it takes on bugs in any weather.

• If you need to catch live bait for fishing with mugs, girders, bottom or float rods, but there is no scraper lift or a suitable net, a glass jar with a hole covered with a film can easily replace them. A trap on a pole or cord is immersed in the water in the coastal part of the reservoir and remains there for two hours. If there is bait in the trap, small fish will definitely get there.

• Most of the peaceful fish eat live food, which is mainly found at the bottom of the reservoir. Using this feature on fishing will help … a regular anchor. If you put it from the stern of the boat downstream and before throwing a fishing rod into the water, raise and lower it several times, silt will rise from the bottom, and with it - all small living creatures. A muddy path will stretch downstream from the boat. You can throw fishing rods into it, expecting bites. It is clear that the muddy path does not immediately and not always attract fish. In this case, the anchor must be raised from the bottom and, having moved 5-10 meters forward, try to stir up the water in a new place.

• In order for the bloodworm to live long, it must be stored in a large potato. The potato is cut in half and a small depression is made in one of its halves, where bloodworms are poured. Both halves are connected and secured with an elastic band. Bloodworms have lived here for a very long time.

• Beginner anglers make the mistake of casting their rods too hard. Casting should be done so that the nozzle fits smoothly into the intended place, and the rod does not flop in the water. The most convenient casting is from yourself. With your right hand you should hold the rod by the butt, and with your left hand - the line near the sinker. Having directed the rod in the right direction, lower its top down, and then with an accelerated movement lift it up from itself, while lowering the line. They are thrown over the head. Carried away by the sinker, the hook with a nozzle flies to an extremely distant distance. When he begins to submerge, the float, like a toy boat, will run forward and stop. From that moment on, he will vigilantly "watch" the fish biting.

• During the summer, anglers often have to fish outside. This is due to some inconveniences: the rod is always in the hands, the attachment and groundbait must be kept in the pockets, and the cage with the fish is on the shoulder. It will be much more convenient if the angler stocks up on a meter peg with nails or shortened knots at its top. The peg must be stuck into the ground in front of you, and the bag with a nozzle, groundbait and a cage with fish should be hung on nails. In this case, the topmost nail or knot will serve as a support for the rod.

• There are many proven methods of active fishing such as spinning, fly fishing. But there is also a "flapper". Anglers make it like this … The rod should be about 5 meters. A fishing line is tied to its top, with a small tee hook on it. The nozzle is a small fish. No float, no sinker, and perch, pike perch, pike are excellently caught.

• Anglers who prefer to fish from a boat need an anchor. Usually, a stone is used for this purpose, some suitable iron part, or simply stick a stake into the bottom. However, there is a more "civilized" way of making a portable and very convenient anchor. To do this, you just need an old, unnecessary, not very deep aluminum bowl. It is necessary to drill or punch (with a core, thick nail) a hole for the bolt in it and fix it on both sides with nuts. Thus, you will get a collapsible anchor that fits well into soft soil, as it reliably clings to the unevenness of the bottom. And at the same time it is easy to extract from the most tight places. The bowl should be as large as possible.
