Fishing tales
There is a strong belief among anglers that the north wind always leads to a deterioration in the bite. This is probably true, but there are no rules without exception. I was convinced of this last winter on Ladoga. Like most fishermen, I fished with a jig. Small perches and ruffs pecked quite well. However, closer to noon, a strong northerly wind blew, mixed with thorny snow pellets, and the biting almost stopped. Gradually, the fishermen left the fishing grounds one by one. There are only a few left.
And among them is my neighbor - a middle-aged man in a sheepskin coat. This fisherman, as before, calmly, almost continuously, pulled striped humpbacks from the hole. And not small fry, but 200-300 grams perch. Naturally, the successful angler attracted the attention of colleagues. Some of them have drilled holes very close. But they never had a real bite: only occasionally they came across okushki. I did not follow their example, but decided to observe the lucky angler, trying to understand the secret of his success. And it succeeded very quickly. It turned out that next to the hole from which he was fishing perches for a jig, he made another one and lowered a small yellow spinning spoon into it. From time to time, he took a fishing rod with a spoon, made several sharp circular movements with a fishing rod and, if there was no bite, put it on the ice. After that, he took a fishing rod with a jig and continued to fish with it.
As I understand it, the spoon in this case served as bait for the perches, which for some reason they did not want to grab. But, having gathered around her, they willingly took on the jig that had just dropped down next to her. As soon as the bite noticeably weakened, the angler again provoked the fish with a spoon and immediately switched to fishing with a jig. In this way, he managed to keep flocks of perches at the hole. Apparently, tackle and fishing technique were of no small importance for successful angling. The rod, about 10 cm long, was cut out of the foam to fit completely in the palm of your hand. The nod was about the same. The fishing rod was complemented by a very thin line and a tiny teardrop-shaped jig without any attachment. It is possible that such a sensitive tackle creates very fine oscillatory movements with a high frequency, which attracts perches much more than any bait. Moreover, the successful fisherman periodically changed the fishing depth.
So it turns out that if the angler acts skillfully, then neither bad weather, nor the north wind will interfere with him.

How To Distinguish Edible Mushrooms From Poisonous Ones And Not Bring Grebes And Fly Agarics From The Forest
Quite soon, the season of quiet hunting will burst - the season of collecting tasty and healthy mushrooms, and rows of mushroom pickers will stretch in orderly rows into the forests in order to collect as many of these gifts of nature as possible. When they come home, they can cook them or dry them and leave them in reserve. Unfortunately, not all mushrooms are useful, some can be severely poisoned, and a number of especially dangerous ones may well lead to human death
