Gardens for relaxation and outdoor work

Antonovsky garden
Antonovsky garden

The first summer festival under this name was held on June 21-24 last year on the territory of the Muzeon Art Park in front of the main entrance to the Central House of Artists in Moscow. There were twelve presented to the attention of visitors to the exhibition gardens. In addition to them, tents with sweets, various design and floristic accessories, magazines and books on landscape gardening, forged products, flower pots, and planting material were located on the festival site.

In the open air were placed new garden furniture, a children's sports and play complex and the composition "Green Zoo" - figures of various animals covered with artificial grass. As part of the event, numerous master classes, seminars, quizzes, round tables were held, and in the evenings visitors were offered a bright concert program.

In seven exhibition gardens ("Inspiration Square", "Green Office", "Modern Mini-Park", "Windows in the City", "Japanese Garden", "Rest Alley" and "Antonovsky Garden"), the theme of outdoor recreation was the leitmotif: gazebos, benches, tables or just reclining platforms. In each of the works, to one degree or another, laconicism was clearly visible and the contrasts of the coating were played up: lawn, wooden flooring, gravel filling, wood chips.

The remaining five mini-gardens were created within the framework of the "Gardens of Generations" project and were aimed at people of different ages: the Spider-line childhood garden, the Immersion in Tenderness garden of romantic youth, the Cabinet office garden, the garden for people of elegant age Sea surf ", garden-symbol" Without unclenching hands. " In them, the main trend was also outdoor recreation (in the garden-office-work), laconism and a contrasting combination of coatings.

Personally, I liked the Antonovsky Garden project most of all, in which various interior items were taken out into the exterior, and the feeling of Chekhov's garden was created by the numerous apples of the old classic Antonovka variety laid out everywhere, and the Inspiration Square project attracted with its coloristic combination of green, white and bright pink flowers, a staircase leading to the sky, and a cozy reading area.
