Another variety - Velvet Peach - is a miracle of selection! A very beautiful variety. Medium early (100-120 days), determinate type. The bush is powerful, standard, 80 cm high, semi-spreading. The leaves are large, bluish-fringed (shaggy). Fruits in a cluster are collected in 4-5 pieces, ideally round or slightly flattened, weighing 100-120 g, the flesh on the cut is dark burgundy, sweet, with a small number of seeds. The fruits themselves are red-purple, pubescent with small, velvety villi, well, just "peach". The yield is average, this is a gourmet tomato.

Yellow peach is an interesting early maturing variety. Standard bush, powerful, up to 80 cm high. Fruits are collected in bunches of 6-8 pieces, they weigh up to 80 g, fruits are round-elongated, white-yellow, pubescent, like a peach, very sweet, yield up to 3 kg per bush.

Elberta Peach (Striped Peach) - One of the most beautiful tomatoes in the world! It is striped and fluffy at the same time. Fruits are medium-sized, plum-shaped, red-pink in color, with a yellow strip, weighing up to 100 g. Mid-season (90-105 days), semi-determinate (from 50 cm to 1.2 m in height). The bush is blue, velvety, medium-sized leaf, bluish in color. The fruits are sweet and delicious. A very beautiful and rare variety. When he lies on the table, you will not immediately understand that there is a tomato in front of you.

Peach Blow Sutton is a mid-ripening variety (70-80 days), indeterminate, normal, 1.5-1.7 m high. Fruits are beautiful, round, smooth, pearl-pink (yellow-green-pink) color with slight pubescence (velvety to the touch). To me they are somewhat reminiscent of red apples. Tomatoes are very tasty, not prone to cracking, weighing up to 250 g (on average 100-200 g). When ripe, the bushes are just a fabulous sight!

Peach Blow Sutton Red is a variety in all respects the same as the previous one, only it has beautiful red fruits.

Pink magli Peach is a mid- season (up to 80 days), indeterminate variety. Bush up to 1.5 m high, spreading. Fruits are round, pink with yellow-green moire, weighing 100-120 g. They are very sweet, tasty, grow in clusters of 10 pieces. High yielding and disease resistant variety.

Red Elberta Peach (Red striped peach) - this variety has bluish, velvety foliage, medium-sized bush, strewn with velvety red tomatoes with yellow stripes weighing up to 100 g. Fruits are sweet. A very beautiful variety.

Wapsipinicon Peach (White Peach) - The author of the variety, named "White Peach" in 1890, is Elbert S. Carman. Dennis Schlicht, in turn, named this variety after the Wapsipinicon River in northeastern Iowa. A very productive variety, the fruits are round, very sweet, juicy with a delicate flesh, pale yellow, with a pink tint, a skin with barely perceptible fluff (less than on ordinary peaches) and have a unique, spicy, fruity-sweet aroma. This is one of my favorite varieties.

The gray-haired prince is an interesting exotic variety of a bush shape up to 1.2 meters high, the fruits are raspberry-colored with pubescence, very sweet, weighing up to 120 g. The bush is also slightly pubescent and stands out among other varieties of tomatoes.

Garden Peach is one of the most famous pubescent varieties in the world. Determinant, early. The consistency of the fruit is very delicate and sweet. Resistant to unfavorable growing conditions. One of the most beautiful varieties. Peach-shaped fruits, yellow-white, weighing up to 80 g. When fully ripe, they acquire a peachy velvety pinkish moire. The plant is up to 80 cm high, medium-sized. Medium-sized leaf, wrinkled with slight pubescence. There are up to 7-9 fruits in a cluster. Productivity and disease resistance are high. Tomatoes of this variety are ideal for salads, canning, pickling and for making tomato paste.

Pink Furry Boar (Pink furry boar) - indeterminate rare variety. Fruits are round, pink, painted with light yellow stripes, covered with light marigold, excellent taste, weighing up to 100 g.

Red Furry Boar (Red furry boar) - the rarest variety, fruits are round, red, variegated with yellow stripes - an unusual unique color, excellent quality and taste. The variety is of medium ripening. The height of the bushes is up to 1.20 m. The weight of the fruits is about 150 g.

The yield of the variety is 5-7 kg per bush.

Red striped boar variety - has beautiful and tasty tomatoes. The variety was bred on a private farm "Wild Boar" in California, especially for farmers' markets. Very popular with buyers. Tall, indeterminate. Long-term fruiting. Fruit weight up to 150 g.

The obscure blue jay is a determinant, rare tomato variety with pubescent fruits and leaves. The fruits are very decorative - at first the top of the fruit turns blue, and when fully ripe, the fruit becomes dark purple with a raspberry tint! Fruit weight up to 100-130 g. A variety for growing in greenhouses. The author of the variety is Tom Wagner (USA).

Agrotechnics for growing tall tomatoes

Tall tomatoes require a large watering area. We place the bushes in rows, the distance between them is 50-60 cm, and in the row we plant the plants every 20-40 cm. We do not make special ridges. We dig holes 40x40 cm in size and depth on a shovel bayonet. We scatter the earth from the holes over the site. We pour half a bucket of humus into the hole, preferably leaf or dung, two or three years of aging, 100-200 g of superphosphate, 30 g of potassium and urea, 50 g of wood ash. All this in the hole is thoroughly mixed with the ground. We try to prepare the holes and fill them 10 days before planting.

Before planting, water the seedlings abundantly, and also spill the holes. Then we take the glasses with seedlings in our hands, turn them upside down, tapping on the bottom and slightly pressing, take out the plants along with a lump of earth and set them in place in the hole and cover them with soil until the middle of the shoot. After planting, we water all the seedlings again at the rate of 1 liter per bush.

5-8 days after planting the seedlings, we mulch the soil with last year's leaves, mixed with straw, with a layer of 3-5 cm. We cover the entire area, turn on the aisles. This makes the whole tomato growing process easier. The soil under such mulch is not compacted and does not require loosening. During the day, the soil covered with leaves warms up well, and does not cool down during the spring night. On such soil, water does not spill on the sides during irrigation. There are no weeds under the bushes. Rotten mulch by the end of summer will give the plants additional nutrition. There are many earthworms living under the leaves in the soil, and they contribute to fertility. Instead of leaves, if few are harvested, we also use rotten hay, plant debris, straw, peat and even old sawdust, and in the summer - cut grass.

Tomato bushes grow rapidly in early summer. Over the summer, plants, especially tall varieties, have to be tied up ten times. On our plantation, we spend almost the whole summer partial pinching, especially on tall tomatoes. We do not cut off the tops of the bushes. We remove only the lower leaves and only if they sink to the ground. We must break off yellow and dried leaves.

Top dressing. For the first time, we feed the tomatoes with infusion of mullein or chicken droppings 7-10 days after planting in the ground. We dilute one liter of infusion in 10 liters of water. This mixture is sufficient for 20 bushes. We prepare the infusion as follows: we put mullein or chicken droppings in the barrel up to half, then fill it to the top with water, close and leave for 5 days. Beware of wetting the leaves and stems of plants with feeding, as they can get burned. We feed every 15 days throughout the growing season. With the third feeding, add 20 g of nitroammophoska and superphosphate to the same infusion. We combine fertilizing of plants with watering. Water the tomatoes only at the root at least twice a week in high heat. If it rains, don't water at all. In practice, we were convinced: it is better to underfeed the plant than to overfeed. Overfeeding with fresh manure is especially harmful.
