Summer Intensive Landscape Design "Private Garden"

June 1 to July 31, 2020

An intensive two-month course will give you basic skills in landscaping a garden. You will get acquainted with the basics of landscape design on the example of your own site, get a good idea of the relationship between the natural landscape, the architecture of objects and the planning structure of the projected site, and understand the features of landscape design.

Upon completion of the course, you will defend a conceptual project of your suburban area, created using the latest trends in the world of garden art. Upon completion of training, a certificate of the International School of Design is issued.

Your garden project. Landscaping. Basic course

Beginning of classes: April 2, 2020

You will get acquainted with the basics of the profession of a landscape designer, with the theory of color and space zoning, the basics of dendrology, floriculture and soil science. Learn about modern trends in landscape design.

Master the stages of landscape design, find your own style and develop your own real sketch project.

As a result of the training, you will be able to independently and competently carry out a draft design, taking into account the real conditions of a particular site: soil composition, water regime, surrounding landscape, house style and customer wishes.

At the end of the course, you will complete a draft design of your own site, including: situational plan, zoning, sketch, master plan with an assortment list attached.

The training ends with the defense of the diploma project. At the defense, the graduate demonstrates the acquired skills in design activities and receives a review from leading architects and designers. The graduation project can be used as an employment portfolio. On the basis of successful defense, the graduate is awarded a diploma from the International School of Design, which gives the right to conduct project activities as an interior designer, landscape designer, graphic designer, costume designer and accessories.

Most of the graduates after graduation from the School work in their specialty, their projects are highly appreciated at Russian and international competitions, and are also published in leading professional and glossy publications

In 2010, the London school of design WK School became a partner of the School. On-line courses, organized by creative director Elena Lazareva, allowed students of the International School of Design to learn from leading British teachers and successful practicing designers such as Anthony Gibbon, Lindal Fernie, Tina Eramery, Sue McGregor, Matteo Bianchi.
