Their work did not leave our correspondent indifferent either: you can hardly find another such flower abundance near a residential building in the city. The flowerbeds run like a carpet - from the first front door to the last. And the flowers on them are for summer cottages, which are not planted on city streets.

Galina Nikolaevna Alekseeva jokes that she takes an elevator to the dacha - from the seventh floor. She has the largest flower garden in the yard, it occupies 150 m?, From the fourth to the fifth front door. The Alekseevs do not have a dacha as such, and Galina Alekseevna realizes her vocation in a public courtyard. She is not the only enthusiastic florist here. There are like-minded people in every front door of a large house. Their selfless service to Flora managed to gain official recognition.

This summer, a team of courtyard florists was awarded the badge "For caring for the beauty of the city", with an attached certificate signed by the Governor of St. Petersburg, and presented with a rose bush. - People of different ages come up to us to talk about flowers, thank us, - says Galina Nikolaevna. - Recently I have made many new acquaintances, my circle of contacts has expanded. Needless to say, with the advent of flower beds, residents have stopped throwing garbage out of windows and walking dogs on lawns, which, alas, is practiced everywhere. And what is very important, children, of whom there are, by the way, a lot here, receive a clear example of the creation of the beautiful and join in it. Miraculous metamorphoses began to occur soon after the settlement of the new building.

Resident of the house Valentin Pavlovich Panchenko recalls:

- When the house was settled, there were heaps of construction waste - the children broke their legs.

In the first year, they even lived without lawns. Then the residents laid out the lawns on their own, and then the enthusiasts began to build flower beds. The municipalities of the Yuntolovo district provided their fencing. Seeing how the women are trying, the chairman of the HOA "Baltia" Mikhail Ivanovich Sonych also began to provide them with all kinds of assistance. I allocated a small utility room for the inventory, they began to buy soil with the funds of the partnership, bought a trimmer, an irrigation unit, a fertilizing gun, and a root sprinkler.

Florists appreciate the support of the government, without it they would hardly have been able to turn around like that. In other houses, where there is no such agreement in the "comrades", there are noticeably fewer flowers. You can't drag buckets of water from the upper floors, and you can't achieve lush and uninterrupted flowering on poor soil. Enthusiasts from the 32nd house value the support of their rule. Other residents of the high-rise building are also helping them. Someone carries the roots from their dacha, someone gives good advice, someone offers physical strength. The flowers grow better from friendly work and involvement.

Galina Alekseeva believes that Natalya Petrovna Lisovskaya from 73/5 on Planernaya Street is a pioneer in the creation of beauty. It was from her that they took an example. The flower garden at the entrance where Natalya Petrovna lives is really capable of inspiring deeds. I found a lot of followers around - everyone has their own taste, as both the style and the set of plants tell about. There are many raisins. Someone laid out a crocodile and a snake from pebbles, someone used a snag in the landscape, someone hung a pots right on the wall of the house, and he made a pond. There is also an exquisite garden near the last front house number 42/2 on Aviakonstruktorov street. Here, according to eyewitnesses, the grandson began to plant flowers, and his grandmother picked up his business.

The manifestations of the residents' creative aspirations, their desire to ennoble their living environment beyond the threshold of the house, are incredibly warm to the soul and delight the eye. But all this is pointwise, individually. The field season starts in April. And September flower beds are still fresh in summer and generous in autumn. Phloxes and asters, zinnia and celosia, rudbeckia and dahlias, marigolds and levkoi, perennial lobelia and statice, ornamental cabbage and verbascum bloom magnificently and brightly. A huge castor oil plant and a dope have reached their climax … Not every summer resident has such a rich collection that the flower growers from the Aircraft designers have gathered. And each front door has its own differences, which are not repeated in other plants.

Elena Burlutskaya from the fourth front door was planting flowers a week after the birth of the child. She has two babies and makes time for flowers. A cheerful ladybug settled in her flower garden - Lena painted a device for it, which is used to prevent cars from entering the wrong places. With the same "gobies" thrown out of the neighboring yard as unnecessary, the flower growers decorated the hatches of the sewer wells. Marina Stepanova painted them like a turtle, a snail, a hedgehog, and they settled among the flowers.

Galina Nikolaevna Alekseeva has many assistants among local children. Seeing her near the flower bed, Liza and Nastya came running. They pick off wilted flowers so that new ones bloom. Galina Nikolaevna calls Alina, the first grader, the main assistant in collecting wilted flowers. She herself diligently cuts them off and teaches her friends this. When children, under the guidance of adults, tinker in flower beds, parents are calm for them and are happy that they are involved in labor on earth. There are many dried flowers in the collection of flowers, from which women will create compositions that will decorate ceremonial ones. Galina Alekseeva is a great craftswoman in floristry. She also embroiders beautiful paintings, and it is easy to guess that flowers prevail in them.
