Edged board

Edged board is a rectangular sawn timber having a thickness of 10 to 100 mm with a width that is twice its thickness. Various wood species, both coniferous and deciduous, are used for the manufacture of edged boards, the most popular are spruce, pine, aspen, larch, birch and cedar.

Currently, edged board is the most necessary and frequently used wood building material. Its name is derived from the method of its manufacture - on the sides the board is processed so that no bark remains on them. There are cases when the sides of the edged board are not completely freed from the bark for some reason and the so-called "wane" remains, which is a defect and is allowed only in the minimum and strictly normalized value.

The edged board manufactured by our company has several types depending on the thickness and is 25, 40 and 50 mm, respectively, with a width of 100, 150, 200 mm. In addition, we can make custom-made edged boards of any other size.
