Biological and nutritional value of the agave

Aloe leaves contain glycosides (aloin, natalon, rabarberon, emodin), resinous substances, essential oils, enzymes and vitamins, phytoncides. Aloe has a strong anti-inflammatory effect, removes radiation products, is a powerful biostimulant that contributes to the overall health of the body.

A valuable property of aloe is its ability to increase the body's defenses, enhance recovery processes in damaged tissues, and remove the decay products of radiation. Biologically active substances are contained in specialized leaf cells. Aloe juice preparations are prescribed in traditional medicine for the treatment of purulent wounds, trophic ulcers, burns, abscesses, boils, etc. (in the form of irrigation and lotions). They are used in ophthalmic, gynecological practice, with anemia, radiation injuries, inflammatory processes of the oral cavity, gastrointestinal tract.

Aloe is recommended for pulmonary tuberculosis, vascular diseases, convulsive conditions in children, as well as for many other diseases (lupus, tuberculous ulcers of the skin, larynx, scleroderma, inflammatory conditions of the peripheral nervous system).

• When the body of adults and children is depleted, it is recommended to consume a nutritional mixture containing 100 g of aloe juice (or gruel from leaves), 500 g of walnuts, 300 g of honey and juice of 3-4 lemons, cocoa powder. Take 1 teaspoon three times a day half an hour before meals.

• Fresh aloe juice is taken one teaspoon 2-3 times a day 20 minutes before meals to improve appetite and digestion.

Hair and scalp care

Compresses with aloe juice are prescribed for radiation dermatitis of the head, which relieves pain, restores tissue and hair growth.

Aloe juice is rubbed into the scalp for excessively oily hair 2-3 hours before washing it every other day for 2.5-3 months. This rubbing strengthens the hair roots and helps get rid of dandruff.

Aloe vera pulp mask for falling and brittle hair. 2 leaves of aloe from among the middle or lower, well developed, cut lengthwise, and after washing the head, rub the scalp with the fleshy part of the leaves. The hair is combed with a fine comb, collected at the crown and tied with a plastic kerchief, and on top with a terry towel. Withstand the mask for 20-25 minutes, wash off with warm water. The masks are repeated for one and a half months. As a result, hair becomes silky, soft and healthy looking. Repeat the course if necessary in a month.

Recovery mask for bleached, dyed and permed hair. Prepare a mixture of 1 tsp. aloe juice, 1 tsp. castor oil and 1 tbsp. l. honey, mix well and apply to hair roots 30-40 minutes before washing. After washing, the hair is rinsed with a decoction of chamomile or nettle, then with clean water. Recommended 1-2 times a week.

Nourishing mask for dry and normal hair. Mix in 1 tbsp. spoon of aloe juice and honey, 1 egg yolk and 1 teaspoon of garlic juice, rub thoroughly. The mask is rubbed into the roots of the hair, cover the head with a plastic kerchief, and on top with a terry towel. Soak for 20 minutes, wash your hair, apply egg yolk to the hair again, soak for several minutes and rinse with warm water.

Mask nourishing for oily hair. Prepare a mixture of 1 tsp. aloe juice, 1 tsp. honey, 1 chopped clove of garlic, 1 tsp. lemon juice and 1 egg yolk, rub thoroughly and rub into the scalp 20 minutes before washing. Cover the hair with a plastic kerchief and a towel.

Alcohol tincture of aloe leaves (40%) as a strong biostimulating agent is recommended to be rubbed into the hair roots to strengthen them and eliminate dandruff 2-3 times a week.

• Rubbing aloe juice into the scalp. With seborrheic baldness, aloe juice is rubbed into the scalp every other day for two months. At the same time, the juice is taken orally, 1 teaspoon three times a day 30 minutes before meals for 2-4 weeks. Contraindications: pregnancy, nephritis, cystitis.

Aloe juice is rubbed into the skin for alopecia areata of the head, beard, mustache, eyebrows every day for two months. If hair growth does not resume, the procedure is canceled. At the same time, take aloe juice inside according to the previous recipe, taking into account the contraindications for its use.

Infusion of aloe leaves is used to replenish the lack of sulfur, silicon, zinc and potassium in the hair, which makes it weak, dull. Prepared aloe leaves are crushed, poured with warm water and infused for a while, then filtered and rinsed after washing.

• Aloe helps to tone light gray hair of dark hair: after washing, you need to regularly rinse your hair in an infusion of aloe leaves (or strong tea).

Face and body skin care

Treating wrinkled skin, as well as preventing the appearance of wrinkles, includes rubbing the skin with aloe lotion. 1-2 large leaves are washed, crushed, poured in 0.5 liters of cold boiled water and boiled over low heat for 5 minutes. The broth is cooled, filtered and stored in a refrigerator in a glass container.

• Cleopatra's cream is prepared from the following components: 5 g of aloe powder is mixed with 40 ml of distilled water until smooth, add 20 ml of rose water and 10 g of honey. The mixture is kept in a water bath, carefully adding 100 g of fresh melted lard to it until a homogeneous mass is obtained. The finished cream is poured into a glass jar, cooled and stored in the refrigerator. Apply to face and neck in a thin layer every day.
