What varieties of tomatoes to choose for the new season

Especially worth noting is the hybrid Kirzhach F1. Its seeds are very decent, but on the other hand, this is the most optimal hybrid in terms of combining a truly huge yield (however, it manifests itself in full only with excellent care and creating conditions for long fruiting), high taste and resistance to diseases, in addition, giving enough large fruits for salad purposes.
This combination of positive qualities is very rare for tomatoes. In addition, it is distinguished by good fruit set even under unfavorable growing conditions, as well as uniform yield and stable fruit quality throughout the entire fruiting period.

From my point of view, this is the best hybrid for busy gardeners who want to get a guaranteed yield of tasty fruits (although, I do not argue, tomatoes are tastier) and do not pursue exotic things. It is worth noting that all of the above hybrids are characterized by complex disease resistance and tolerate adverse environmental conditions quite well. Especially in this sense, it is worth noting the Kirzhach and Knyazhna hybrids, but the latter has a rather mediocre taste.
Of course, there are varieties with more tasty fruits than those mentioned above, but the data most optimally combine yield, unpretentiousness and taste, which, by the way, can be significantly improved if you use special agronomic techniques (but this is a separate conversation).
The most delicious tomatoes

Delicious tomatoes are characterized by a large accumulation of sugars and pectins, thick walls and partitions, small seed chambers, thin, easily peeled peel, and aroma.
They are especially demanding on the agricultural background and are susceptible to disease, so their cultivation cannot be called simple, especially in the Ural conditions. The sweetest hybrids are officially recognized as Caramel yellow F1 and Caramel red F1. Amazing taste in varieties of Cherry yellow and Cherry red, the content of sugars and dry matter in which is 2-3 times higher than that of ordinary tomatoes.
The fruits of indoor tomato Bonsai are very tasty - they are about two times sweeter than the most delicious fruits of large-fruited tomatoes. But, alas, they are all low-yielding, and you should not take them into account especially.

If you try to find mid-ripening and yet sufficiently productive hybrids, then among the modern ones, most likely, you will not be disappointed by the Boyarynya F1 and Ognivo F1 hybrids. The noblewoman is a very effective indeterminate, mid-early hybrid for growing in greenhouses with abundant and long-term fruiting and large (200-250 g), rounded, pink, with fleshy tender pulp, very tasty fruits.
These tomatoes will add a unique taste to vegetable salad and decorate any table, and fresh tomato juice from these fruits is very tasty and healthy. Ognivo F1 is also a tall indeterminate hybrid with long and abundant fruiting and medium-sized bright red fruits with very high palatability.
Of the most delicious, it is also worth noting the Elton John F1 hybrid with rich yellow and bright, like orange fruits glowing with the sun. The fruits are very beautiful, tasty and with a high content of carotene, and therefore they will decorate any table in assorted vegetables, pleasantly refresh salads and are very healthy.
The largest tomatoes
Alas, no matter how pleasant it is to pick up a huge tomato, in reality large-fruited tomatoes are good only for exhibitions. For the most part, they differ in average productivity, extreme whimsicality to environmental conditions, are very susceptible to diseases and give very little fruit per plant. After reading on the package that tomatoes of a particular variety form fruits, say, up to 900 g, you should not sacredly believe that your bush will be strewn with just such tomatoes. And not because the manufacturers are deceiving you, not at all.
Most likely, tomatoes of this variety can really grow fruits of this size, but … under certain conditions. In order for the fruits to be really large, certain technologies must be observed (normalize the number of brushes and colors, take care of better lighting and carry out all the necessary measures in a timely manner, etc.). And here there is one pattern: if you follow the rules of the game (we are talking about rationing), then the fruits will indeed be larger, but the overall harvest will be less.
So, maybe it is not worth chasing extra-large fruits, given our difficult and in the overwhelming majority of cases, completely unsuitable for growing tomatoes in the Urals? But, as they say, the free will, and the saved - paradise. And gardeners will dream of giant tomatoes again and again.
Before giving specific examples, I would like to note one more fact - hybrids with very large fruits have not yet been bred, and in this case you will have to be content with varieties, and they, as usual, are more harmful, less productive and unstable to disease.
Varieties and hybrids of large-fruited tomatoes
But first about large-fruited hybrids. Juicy tasty fruits for salad consumption weighing up to 300 g in the Bravo F1 hybrid. Even more (up to 630 g) fruits in the salad hybrid Russian size F1, which have a very good taste. According to the developers, this hybrid can grow fruits up to two kilograms, however, if one flower is left in the inflorescence.
Of the varieties, Budenovka, Wild Rose and Gina (up to 300 g) have large fruits; Raspberry giant, Pink giant, Master Garden, Red giant, Amateur pink, Tyutchev (up to 500 g); Miracle of the market, Russian hero and Cardinal (up to 800 g).
The most mature tomatoes (usually late ripening)

There are many tricks on how to keep fresh tomatoes for New Year's table. True, in recent years, in connection with the emergence of special maturing varieties and hybrids, this has become much easier.
Tomatoes of the varieties Chukhloma (bright orange) and Khokhloma (bright red) with fruits of an elongated cylindrical shape, which are very similar to each other, have a unique keeping quality, which allows you to decorate and diversify the New Year's table with fresh tomatoes. As before, an indispensable decoration of the New Year's table is the New Year's tomato variety - its beautiful, flat-round, bright yellow fruits retain their commercial qualities for 3-5 months.
The tall, late variety Giraffe with unique round fruits weighing 100-110 g of orange-green color is distinguished by the unique keeping quality of fruits that are stored for up to 6 months. The ripe fruits of the medium-late tall hybrid Instinct F1 lie up to 45 days. Its fruits weigh 120-130 g, are flat-round in shape, and the plants themselves are resistant to a whole range of diseases.
However, keeping quality is keeping quality, and in real life, you should not get carried away with varieties with long-term fruits, you need to limit their number - 3-5 bushes are enough for you to please your family on New Year's. There are several reasons:
As a rule, dead fruits form varieties with late fruiting, in other words, the plants enter fruiting when cold August nights begin in the Urals and in other, more northern regions, with all the ensuing consequences; this automatically means low yields;
· No matter how the aforementioned tomatoes are praised, but the taste of mature fruits is much worse than the taste of mid-ripening ones. Although imported tomatoes bought on New Year's Eve have no taste at all, so it’s better, of course, decaying than those brought from nowhere and stuffed with who knows what.

Early And Late Varieties Of Tomatoes

According to the ripening period, tomatoes are divided into 4 groups: ultra-early, early, mid-ripening and lying. But since they are grown in seedlings, the planting time determines the time of their ripening. It turns out that the division into early and late varieties is very relative
Features Of The Formation Of Determinant And Indeterminate Varieties Of Tomatoes

I form most often in two shoots. One is the central one, the second is a stepson from under the first flower brush. I leave all the brushes on the center. And on my stepson I leave two flower brushes and his top, i.e. leave 1-2 leaves above the second brush and cut off the top
