After a few hours, the branches will not be recognized.

And what a New Year's holiday without colorful bulbs ?! They can be fixed on a cornice, on a chandelier, on a lamp, or simply put in a vase, and for this it is not at all necessary to have a Christmas tree.

We recommend placing several live spruce twigs or a pine branch on the table in a vase. The shiny rain on the branches and the glass balls chaotically scattered on the table will sparkle, reflecting the light of candles, without which the New Year is simply unthinkable.

And the more candlesticks, the better! With a light movement of your hand, you can turn a round potato, turnip, apple into a unique candlestick. To do this, you just need to cut a hole in the middle to the size of the candle. You can stick small spruce twigs around it, strengthen rowan berries and small toys on toothpicks.

When showing imagination in decorating the table, remember the serving rules and the overall impression. A snow-white tablecloth, complemented by pine needles and matching napkins (silvery-greenish scale) symbolizes purity and tranquility, and a blue-violet scale will give your table a kind of mysterious magic. Gold or silver ribbons wrapped around coniferous branches will add solemnity to the table.

To prepare this delicious holiday dish, which is good to serve both hot and cold, you need to take chilled chicken. Next, you have a very painstaking work, but believe me, the result is worth it. It is necessary to carefully remove the skin, trying to tear it as little as possible. Then you need to separate the meat from the bones and pass it through a meat grinder. Add about 100-150 grams of grated cheese to the resulting chicken mince, 1 jar of canned mushrooms (if you have fresh mushrooms, then, of course, you can and even need to use them), squeeze out 2-3 cloves of garlic, chop 1 sweet bell pepper, season with salt and pepper, add chopped parsley and dill, a little mayonnaise and 1 raw egg. Thoroughly mix the resulting minced meat and fill the prepared skin with it and sew with thick threads. Grease the resulting carcass with mayonnaise to obtain a crispy crust, put on a baking sheet, previously greased with vegetable oil, and send to the oven. Bake at 200 ° C for about an hour.

Before serving, cut into portions and be sure to pull out the thread.

Meat rolls with mushrooms

For this dish you will need lean pork (chop, tenderloin) or chicken fillet (breast), mushrooms (champignons or porcini), cheese, mayonnaise, onions, salt, and pepper to taste.
