Introduced into culture in 1891. It is rare in Europe. Cypress is propagated by cuttings (74%). Recommended for planting in groups or singly on rocky areas, in containers for green roofs.

2. Juniper Cossack Tamariscifolia, also up to 1 m high with open needles of a bluish shade.
This is a low-growing plant up to one meter high and two meters wide with a decorative original evergreen crown, open or with ascending branches, dominated by needle-shaped needles of a bluish tint, bluntly pointed, dark green with a white stripe on top.
The form is winter-hardy, drought-resistant, light-requiring. The plant is undemanding to the soil, but does not tolerate strong moisture. In culture, it lives up to 30 years. This juniper is propagated by cuttings (86-100%).
Recommended for rocky gardens, slope decoration. Can be planted on a lawn, on loose sand, create wide curbs along roads. Single bushes are effective on rocky areas or lawns.
3. Due to its short stature and beautiful color of the needles, the Kobold Virginia juniper with needle-like needles, bluish above and green below, has become very popular.
4. Horizontal juniper Wiltonii with small needles of silvery-bluish color is also recommended for the decoration of the coastal zone. It is a dwarf form up to 10 cm tall, very slow-growing, densely branched.
Juniper needles are in the form of subulate needles, small, silvery-blue. Propagated by cuttings 87-91%. In 1914, it was discovered by the breeder J. Van Heiningen in the USA.
Due to its low growth and beautiful color, the needles are a very decorative plant.
Recommended for rooftop greening, container growing, rocky gardens where planting in large groups is preferred.
5. Juniper Cossack Cupressifiolia with bluish-green needles.

Ground cover forms are often found among junipers:
- juniper horizontal Hughes with silvery-blue needles and branches pressed to the ground. Juniper horizontal, dwarf form. Height 0.4-0.5 m, crown diameter 2 m. Creeping crown. The bark is gray-brown. Scaly needles, silvery-blue. It grows slowly. Photophilous, but tolerates slight shading. Prefers rather moist, sandy loam soils. Frost resistant. Application: single and group landings. For well-drained steep slopes in the shade, more drought-resistant and shade-tolerant crops will be required, for example: horizontal cotoneaster. Coastal plants and moisture-loving perennials can be planted at the mouth of the stream.
The central element of the entire composition is still conifers, dwarf forms of juniper, spruce, thuja, cypress, mountain pine, they give the area a unique charm. In addition, the combination of evergreens with stones has a special charm.
