Making the site beautiful

Every gardener is the creator of his garden. He strives to plan it so that everything in it is expedient, beautiful, simple. In the plan of the garden there is a lawn, a house, a garage, a bathroom, a decorative pond, a children's corner with a swing and a sandpit, a gazebo - a green hotel, winding paths and, of course, a greenhouse, a vegetable garden, a place for inventory, compost and a fire - a full set of necessary functional areas … The appearance of the site can be greatly influenced by its background and, above all, by the fence.

It is possible that your garden is already fenced off with a metal mesh, a picket fence, entwined with actinidia or girlish grapes - this is the most common option for gardeners and summer residents with disabilities. Since fences are part of the design, care should be taken when choosing its style and color. Make sure they match your home and garden style.

The height of the fence of 120 cm is sufficient to meet the requirements of a barrier that limits unwanted entry into the site. Fences more than 240 cm in height already create an uncomfortable feeling of an isolated place, although some citizens, tired of the noisy city, its hustle and bustle, sometimes strive for solitude. True, one must take into account the fact that with such a height of the fence, part of the garden will be in the shade for a long time.

To create a beautiful and impenetrable hedge, you can use many plants planted in a row and act as a fence. The most favorite choices for a hedge are common spruce, yew, thuja, hawthorn, yellow acacia, honeysuckle, chokeberry, juniper, cotoneaster, mock orange, spirea, turf, viburnum, common barberry, dog rose and others. Plants with branches that grow in breadth require annual pruning from the garden side in order to create a wall-like shape. In thorny bushes, it is sometimes sufficient to prune the branches, turning them into lush, woody bushes.

The fencing of the site can be done by planting berry bushes: on one side - raspberries, on the other - currants, on the third - gooseberries, sea buckthorn, edible honeysuckle. Felt cherry and chokeberry bushes will cover the utility block and the compost area.

Skillfully planted and grown hedges will beautify not only your site, but also the adjacent street. They are reliable protection from prying eyes, from street dust, noise, wind.

Flowers are a good decorative and compositional means. With their help, you can, as experts say, "organize" the territory, accentuate important planning elements - the entrance to the garden and the house, the direction or turn of the path, the recreation area or other functional places.

If you are planting flowers along a hedge, remember that it is alive. It will grow upward and in width, needing mandatory pruning - shaping, subcrusting, and possibly watering. Therefore, you need to take care of access to the hedge. There should be a narrow path between the hedgerows and the flowers, about 50 cm wide, which will allow for the maintenance of flowers and bushes.

Any style you choose for your garden will be more attractive if you choose plants that match each other and provide them with the conditions they need. Important factors that determine the success of plants are full sunlight and sufficient humidity. If you do not take into account the needs of the plants, you can be completely disappointed with the results of their vegetation.

Remember that a small pond with fish, a rocky shore, an alpine slide becomes more beautiful, alluring if you do not let the visitor see them all at the same time. Each of these structures should be revealed gradually - one by one.

Gardeners and summer residents are especially envious of the presence of a stream, even a small one, on the site. Its natural channel is the main compositional axis of the site. Arrange a small bubbling waterfall and ponds along its course. They can serve as good water storage for watering plants all summer and at the same time humidifiers. Their shores can be decorated with moisture-loving ornamental plants - lush, juicy and bright. Instead of flowers on the banks of reservoirs, you can grow pumpkin plants - zucchini, squash, cucumbers, which have beautiful decorative foliage, by autumn they will decorate the garden and their bright multi-colored fruits. If you give freedom to their whips, then they will cover the shores, slopes of the reservoir with a green carpet and go well with the water mirror of the pool.

It doesn't matter how your garden is designed, but one thing is clear - it will only flourish if you plant the plants in their proper places. You must be sure that everything you add to decorate the garden will harmonize and correspond to the existing plants and garden compositions, fit into its microclimate and microrelief, and most importantly, meet the needs of every family member.

The solutions here can be very diverse in accordance with the taste, imagination and capabilities of the site owner.

I wish your site was the most elegant. Show your taste, love for nature and relaxation skills.
