From the Editor: We decided to keep the writing style unchanged. This summer cottage took second place in our competition. The photos were taken by the owners of the clever and inquisitive Lyusha. Hello, dear editorial staff of "FloraPrice" magazine and readers! I am forced to write to you instead of my hosts. I am a Drathaar hunting dog. My owners are not at all lazy, but they just never wrote anywhere, and our plot (6 acres), it seems to me, is very nice and everyone likes it. The main thing is that everything is done by the hands of the owners themselves. The site is 14 years old, the owner himself put the house together with a friend (I know this from stories, since I am only 8 years old), and then for many more years he completed the construction himself - and the utility block, and the garage, and the fence, and the porch - and that's all, what we have made of wood or iron.

But the hostess loves to tinker with cement and stone (can you imagine ?!), and she herself made a path from the waste of beautiful polished stone across the entire site. And four years ago, we all built a pond together, and now I often lie nearby, watching the frogs. Almost all of our territory is occupied by a lawn, and this suits me very much - you can run, lie down, wallow and even play ball (which, however, is not very encouraged). There are also many flowers in spring, summer and autumn - something is blooming all the time. But I will not dwell on flowers, because sometimes because of them I have a little trouble - you run after someone else's cat … and lo! - do you understand what I mean? it was nice. We come to our garden in winter, to feed the birds. They flock as soon as we come to the house. And they know me and are not afraid, I am a real hunting dog and I know who is hu.
