It is clear that it is not at all difficult to grow a plant capable of standing up for itself in nature. This perennial plant is frost-resistant, shade-tolerant, unpretentious to soils. The only thing it needs is 2-3 waterings per summer during dry periods.

Cyanosis can be propagated by dividing rhizomes with renewal buds. Thanks to the fibrous root system, the plants tolerate transplantation painlessly. Easily propagated by seeds. It is better to sow them before winter, but you can also in early spring. In the latter case, the seeds are stratified - kept in a moist substrate (peat, moss, sawdust) for 1-2 months at a temperature of + 1 … + 3 ° C. Seeds are embedded in grooves 1-1.5 cm deep.

40 cm is left between the rows. In the first year, the plants develop a rosette of leaves. Flowering begins from the second year in June. The seeds ripen in July. They are dark brown, pyramidal, about 3 mm long. Rhizomes can be harvested from the second year.
