Video: Charming Informal Home Garden - Successful Home Garden Plans - 2

In the previous article, we considered the option of creating a garden near a country house using low-growing plants. Now we will continue to select possible options for decorating the area around your estate. One of the most popular garden styles is the charming informal home garden. Such an original garden with a wonderful mixture of flowers and vegetables has been popular since the fifteenth century, especially in England, where plots in villages are small. Such gardens, allowing the owners and their guests to admire the beauty of the plants, creating a good mood for rest and leisure, daily provided families with medicinal teas, herbal balms and fresh vegetables for soup or salads. But, for example, the modern American style of country houses and gardens with them prefers a mixture of annuals, perennials and biennials, as well as flowers, multiplying self-seeding. The randomly densely planted plants create a style that makes the countryside life of modern gardeners easier. Dense plantings provide shade to the beds and reduce the growth of weeds. Do not forget to only occasionally remove wilted flowers. Self-seeding flowers will keep your garden in good shape. Although the vibrant jumble of flowers in the garden looks random and fickle, the plants still create a stunning effect. The mixture of annuals, biennials, perennials and forest plants forms a beautiful tapestry that is magnificent every summer.Although the vibrant jumble of flowers in the garden looks random and fickle, the plants still create a stunning effect. Alternate plantings allow easy-growing plants to be included as a result of self-seeding from year to year, creating a change of color combinations throughout the summer. Such a garden is suitable for decorating the front of a country house or cottage; it easily fits into any sunny place in the design. It can be snugly placed on the outside of the kitchen door, in front of the patio, or
between the house and the garage. The garden near the cottage helps to create and maintain a sense of comfort, peace and beauty for the hosts and guests.

So, we create a luxurious flower abundance at home. Here is an approximate list of colors used for the proposed scheme (see figure):
- Spirea.
- Cornflowers (sow in the ground in the spring or plant seedlings after the end of frost).
- Digitalis (sow in mid-summer or plant seedlings in early fall).
- Yellowfiol (lacfiol - Cheiranthus L.).
- Siberian irises (plant in mid-spring)./
- Poppies (sow in spring).
- Stachis.
- Nasturtiums (their wonderful bright flowers bloom from mid-summer to autumn).
- Salvia.
- Carnations.
- Plants blooming at night (morning glory, matiola two-horned and others - sow in spring).
Gardens located in colder areas can also achieve excellent results when used in landscaping with clematis and climbing roses. It is quite possible to plant juicy green lettuce bushes to the color palette of bright cornflowers, ears of dry ornamental grasses, continuously flowering nasturtiums.
