Tatyana has a light hand, whatever she touches, everything grows magnificently. The grafted plants are planted in containers with a peat-manure mixture, in which they grow. A six-year-old fruiting tree is sold in a container. The grower tastes an apple, a pear and buys what he likes.

When choosing parental varieties for crossing, varieties with certain characteristics are selected: large-fruited, taste, resistance to pests, etc. And, depending on the purpose, domestic and foreign varieties are taken, because distant crossing gives a good result. Galina Dmitrievna created her varieties on the basis of the Festivalnaya variety with the involvement of the American Holiday variety, the Dutch ones - Vola, Gorela. The resulting hybrids combine the best maternal and paternal qualities. Last season, one and a half to two kilograms of berries were harvested from one bush of the varieties of wild strawberries, Divnaya, Sudarushka, Tsarskoye Selo, from one bush. The nursery does not use chemistry. Top dressing is done mainly through the leaves. This is very important for cuttings. So that they do not dry out after inoculation, they must be fed through the bark, cut, leaves with nitrogen-containing substances. Tobacco dust is good for this. It contains 35% of pure nitrogen in free form, which is assimilated by plants. It is used in a certain concentration: 300 g of tobacco are soaked and boiled in two liters of water, then the solution is diluted in 20 liters of water. After that, you can spray the plants.

In the nursery, feeding is carried out using a fog plant. It forms water dust, saturated with nitrogen, which accelerates plant growth, and at the same time protects against pests. Leaves, with which the soil is mulched, so as not to introduce infection, you need to sprinkle with urea - 700 g per 10 liters of water - dissolve and spray the leaves and soil.

There is nothing superfluous in the garden and everything can be used for fertilization or protection. If blooming chamomiles are collected in bouquets and dried, you get an effective remedy against garden ants - pyrethrum, contained in pollen. It is enough to shake a dry bouquet over the insects' habitat, and they will immediately leave. Concentrated decoction of potato tops is effective against leaf-eating. Alexander advises to mow the whitewash and put it under the plants - this will provide them with an acceleration of growth up to 30-40%.
