The use of white roots in traditional medicine

For many centuries, parsley, parsnips and celery have been used for various diseases: digestive disorders, gallstone and kidney stones, cardiac edema, menstrual irregularities, prostatitis. Preparations from these plants are effective agents that cleanse the blood and remove toxins from the body.

For joint diseases and gout

- Pour 1 teaspoon of dried herbs and parsley roots with 2 cups of hot water, leave for 9 hours. Take an infusion of 2-3 tablespoons before meals for three days.

- Pour 1 tablespoon of chopped celery roots with two glasses of boiling water and insist for 5 hours in a sealed container, then strain and take 2 tablespoons before meals three times a day.

When treating chickenpox

- Pour 1-2 tablespoons of parsley herb with 0.5 liters of boiling water, insist, strain. Give the child 1 teaspoon three times a day.

- Pour 1 teaspoon of chopped parsley roots with 1 cup boiling water, insist, strain. Give the child 1 teaspoon three times a day.

With measles

Pour 1 teaspoon of dry chopped parsley roots with 1 cup boiling water. Insist, wrapped, 6-8 hours, drain. Take 1 teaspoon 3-4 times a day 30 minutes before meals.

With gallstone disease

Take powder from leaves or seeds of dry parsley 2-3 times a day for 0.5-1 g.

With urolithiasis

- Pour 1 teaspoon of finely chopped leaves and roots of fresh parsley with 1 cup boiling water, insist, wrapped, for 2-3 hours. Take the infusion in three doses, sips 1 hour before meals.

- 1 tablespoon of powder made from dry celery leaves, pour 200 ml of boiling water. Put on fire for 15 minutes. Strain the finished broth, take 1 tablespoon three times a day.

Pour 1 teaspoon of pounded parsley seeds with two glasses of chilled boiled water, leave for 8-10 hours in a closed vessel, drain. Take 2 tablespoons three times a day.

For edema caused by heart failure

Take parsley seed powder 2-3 times daily on the tip of a knife.

In the treatment of prostatitis

- Take 1-2 teaspoons of parsley juice three times a day for 20 days. Take a break for 10 days and repeat the treatment again.

- Insist 1 tablespoon of chopped celery root in a glass of water, take three times a day before meals

With angina pectoris, coronary heart disease

Pour 2 teaspoons of crushed dry leaves or parsley roots with 0.5 liters of boiling water, leave for 8 hours, strain and take 1 tablespoon 3-4 times a day (root infusion) or 1/2 cup 4-5 times a day (infusion of leaves). The course of treatment is 30 days as a prophylaxis in spring and autumn

With cystitis

Pour 0.5 liters of hot water over 1 tablespoon of a mixture of chopped carrot tops and parsley, close tightly and leave for 2 hours. Take 1 tablespoon 3-4 times a day 30 minutes before meals.

Prepare a strong decoction of parsley roots and mix it with lemon juice, lubricate the skin in the morning and evening.

insist 2-3 tablespoons of dry crushed leaves or 2 teaspoons of crushed parsnip roots. Or 0.5 teaspoon of crushed fruit is boiled for 15 minutes in 2 cups of boiling water. The resulting broth is taken chilled, 1 tablespoon 3-4 times a day.

Externally, a tincture of parsnip herb with vodka (1: 5) is rubbed into the discolored spots once a day. The surrounding skin is lubricated with a protective cream. After that, the skin is irradiated with the sun, starting at 1 minute. The exposure is increased daily by 1-1.5 minutes for 3-4 weeks. The courses are repeated at weekly intervals throughout the summer season.

With premature aging of the skin, use parsnip leaves in salads with any vegetable oil. This improves blood circulation in the pelvic organs, which promotes the production of sex hormones.

When graying, treatment with preparations from nettle is combined with the introduction of parsley, celery or parsnip leaves, as well as the juice of the roots of these plants, 1-3 tablespoons once a day.

With alopecia areata, a vodka tincture of parsnip herb is rubbed into the baldness foci daily with a cotton swab (1: 5)

Infusion of parsnips with weak immunity

Chop 2 tablespoons of the root of the plant and pour 1 cup of boiling water. Pour into a thermos and leave for 12 hours. Then strain the infusion, add 1 tablespoon of honey and take 1 tablespoon half an hour before meals four times a day.

Contraindications

Contraindications to the use of celery are heavy periods, urinary incontinence, pregnancy.

Contraindications to the use of parsley are acute inflammatory kidney disease and acute cystitis.

Parsley is contraindicated in pregnant women.

It is not recommended to eat parsnips in case of photodermatosis, young children, the elderly and in case of individual intolerance.
