Video: How To Use Household Waste In Summer Cottages And Household Plots

I have been living in the village for 20 years. I understood: all problems are resolved over time. Only two are unsolvable: what to do with the garbage and how to insulate the chicken coop. That means we need to combine them.
We usually filled up the attic above the chicken coop with hay or straw, which in winter served as both insulation and bedding material, but in the past rather rotten summer we did not manage to prepare an armful. They had to carry sawdust from the city in bags so that the bird had something to throw under its feet. I bought a Bulleryan stove for heating.
I am standing in the middle of the chicken coop, looking sadly at the cracks in the ceiling and listening to the speech of our governor on the radio, as she, scolding negligent communal services, promises frosts down to -30? C. Every word she says is a knife to my heart.
But the need for invention is cunning! And he does not want to buy expensive building materials, he saves money, tea, a banking crisis in the yard. And the birds, meanwhile, have stolen a bowl of porridge from the cats and are eating it along with the bowl. The cats were served porridge in a disposable container, i.e. in a penoplex tray. Aha, here it is, the scourge of the environment, the third polluter of nature after polyethylene and plastic bottles. The idea came up instantly.
Rodney, I have a lot of friends, acquaintances. I called everyone and offered barter, they say, I change trays for eggs. And these trays are now packed with everything: meat, fish, and all kinds of cuts, cookies, cakes, sweets, cheese. In short, a week later I was brought a few meters of stacked stacked foam trays.
First of all, I filled in all the large cracks with polyurethane foam. If you do not have a special pistol, you can use a "balloon with a tube", but it is inconvenient to work with it under the ceiling, it is better to have a semi-professional pistol on the farm, in our climate it will always be useful to fill a hole with it. Foam is an expensive material, it also needs to be saved. Therefore, I never throw away foam, in which the Chinese wrap household appliances and other useful tools. But here you need to be careful, because the birds are happy to peck on foam balls, clog the gastrointestinal tract with them and die. It is necessary to work with foam, having previously removed the bird, it is better to collect all the waste with a vacuum cleaner.
By the way, about the tools. The most popular of them after the shovel, you will never guess, is the stapler. I use it to pin the film to the greenhouse, insulate the windows, and attach all kinds of roofing materials with windscreens to the house. In short, I go to the store for staples more often than a cartridge hunter.
With this very stapler, after I filled up the cracks with polystyrene and filled everything with foam, I nailed to the ceiling a black non-woven covering material that gardeners usually use for strawberries, it is very dense and keeps heat well. Then I nailed the trays upside down with the same stapler, i.e. they became the next layer after non-woven. After that, to each nailed tray she glued his "twin brother" with instant glue.
Penoplex trays are different in depth and configuration. This is convenient for a fit. Of course, glueing under the ceiling is not very convenient, but everything dries quickly and easily, and it is enough to drip glue only on the corners. Thus, I got a "checkered" ceiling. Trays glued along the contour with air inside turned out to be an excellent building material, excellently retaining heat. It remains only to protect the entire structure, because penoplex is a rather fragile material, and in the spring you will have to sweep dust and cobwebs from the ceiling. I did this with a second layer of nonwoven material, nailed to the floors.
This season, I'm going to be finishing the chicken coop. I must confess that the decoration was there, but it had to be removed. In the voids between the rough and whitewashed ceilings, rats were bred and arranged such a scurry every evening! They stole eggs from the nests and generally behaved unworthily. Cats run in circles, but they can't get the rats. I tell these horrors to novice summer residents so that they do not repeat my mistakes. Do not create voids anywhere, someone will definitely settle there. Jackdaws have settled down in the voids in the attic of our house, they are harmless, but in the summer it is too early for their working day. Imagine that your neighbors from above are thundering, stomping and croaking loudly.
As a finishing material, having tried all kinds of laminates, I use a simple, cheap and reliable one, i.e. Fiberboard. I cover the rough side with an antifungal primer, and the smooth front side with acrylic, then a layer of enamel paint, and everything turns out wonderfully! Holds firmly, can be washed. Seams can be sealed with silicone sealant or covered with plastic T-strips. Simple and aesthetically pleasing, "budget option". And if I say that I get the laminate for the poultry house at the nearest garbage dump, I hope you will understand me correctly. In the spring, the time for repairs begins, people throw away decent furniture, building scraps. Rather, they do not throw it away, but take it out and neatly put it near the garbage fence. Thanks to them. I certainly won't pass by indifferently!
It is we who have become kind of scrupulous and wasteful, we think that only homeless people are digging in the garbage dumps. All over the world, garbage has long been sorted and recycled. Flea markets are flourishing all over the world. Even such a garbage style appeared, customizing is called. And we will soon drown in our own waste. It is necessary to constantly raise this problem, solve it ourselves and fiddle with the authorities.
I look forward to your stories and fresh ideas on this topic.
